Our experienced engineers can produce a prototype of any design by a number of cost-effective methods.

Whether made out of wood, sand moulded or precision engineered from a solid block of alloy we can create a mock-up of any design to allow improvements and changes to be made as quickly and cheaply as possible before a product goes into full production.

Our staff are experts at making prototypes of products machined from solid blocks of alloy or from sand or silicon moulds.

In many cases we encourage the development of a prototype so that a component can be assembled and tested before our customers go to the expense of ordering full production.

This service was recently utilised for four castings for the new Bowman project, the new NATO communications system.

Several castings were made from silicon moulds to enable a practical test of the product to highlight any necessary design changes before full production began.
